Advent of Islam
The pre-Islamic period was the darkest age in human history. It was the time of ignorance and anarchy in the religious and social life of man. The Barbarians had shattered the political, social and cultural life developed by the people of the ancient world.
The pre-Islamic period of Arabia is known as Ayyam-i-Jahiliyah, meaning "the day of ignorance". It was a time when there was disintegration and anarchy in the religious, social and political life of the Arabs.
